When about getting someone’s attention on social media, there is no standardized answer. However, there are some general tips that can help you get started. First, consider what kind of relationship you have with the person you’re trying to reach out to. If you’re close friends or family, posting something personal or funny is more likely to get their attention than if you’re trying to connect with a celebrity or public figure. Second, think about what kind of content is most likely to interest them. If they’re into fashion, for example, posting a photo of your outfit or sharing a stylish new product can be a good way to get their attention. Third, consider using hashtags, geotags, and other features that will help your content show up in their feed. And finally, don’t forget to be creative! There are endless possibilities for what you can post on your story – so have fun and experiment until you find something that works for you and the person you’re trying to reach out to.
The classic thirst trap. Okay, hear me out ladies
We’ve all been there. You’re minding your own business, scrolling through your feeds when you see it. A photo of your friend, or maybe even a celebrity, looking absolutely stunning. And in that moment, you feel it. That pang of envy, desire… thirst. Yes, my friends, we are talking about the classic thirst trap.
For those not in the know, a thirst trap is defined as “a sexy photograph or flirtatious message posted on social media for the purpose of eliciting attention or reactions from others.” In other words, it’s a way to get people to notice you and hopefully give you some compliments or attention that you may be craving.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with wanting some attention now and then. We are human after all and crave validation from others. But what I take issue with is the way that many women use thirst traps as a way to get validation from men specifically. And often times these traps are created with the sole purpose of attracting male attention and compliments rather than making other women feel good about themselves too.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for celebrating our bodies and being confident in our skin. But there’s something about using our sexuality to intentionally lure men in that just rubs me the wrong way. It feels manipulative and icky to me (though I fully recognize that this is just my opinion).
So next time you’re tempted to post a thirsty photo on Instagram or send a flirty message on Snapchat, ask yourself why you’re really doing it? If your motivation is simply to make other women jealous or get free drinks at the bar from guys hitting on you then maybe rethink your strategy. But if you’re posting because you genuinely feel confident and sexy AF then go ahead and post away!
A wholesome selfie
Looking for a little pick-me-up? Why not treat yourself to a wholesome selfie? 🙂
Not only will you feel good about yourself, but you’ll also be sure to get plenty of likes and comments from your friends. And who knows, maybe even that special someone you’ve been crushing on will take notice.
So go ahead and strike a pose. We guarantee you’ll feel better for it.
A tantalizing food pic
No matter what you’re posting on your story, adding a mouth-watering photo of food is sure to pique people’s interest. After all, who doesn’t love looking at delicious eats? And if you’re trying to get someone’s attention in particular, there’s no better way than by tempting them with their favorite foods!
So, if you’re looking for a surefire way to grab someone’s attention on your story, add a delectable photo of grub next time you post!

A fun activity
If you’re looking for a way to get your guy’s attention, why not try a fun activity? Something like playing tag, racing each other, or even playing video games together can be a great way to get him to focus on you. Plus, it’ll be a lot of fun!
There’s always that one person who just seems to light up a room with their presence. They make you laugh without even trying, and they just have a way of making everything feel more fun. If you’re wondering how to get his attention, try being that person! Post something funny on your story and watch as he comes running over to see what’s going on.
I was never one for attention. I preferred to stay in the background and let others take center stage. But that all changed when I won the lottery. Overnight, I was thrust into the spotlight whether I liked it or not. Reporters followed me everywhere, eager to get a quote or a glimpse of me spending my millions. My face was on every news channel and newspaper. It was all too much for me to handle and I quickly retreated back into my old habits of staying out of the limelight. But even though I tried to stay away from the attention, it always seemed to find me again.
